  1. Use 1 cup of Black Channa soaked over night.
  2. Get 5-6 pc of Chicken leg/ thigh.
  3. Take of Onion 2 nos.

  6. Use 3/4 tsp of Ginger garlic chopped.
  7. Get 1 tsp of Chilli powder.

  9. Provide 3/4 tsp of Garam masala/ channa masala.
  10. Get 1 tsp of Coriander powder.
  11. Provide of Mustard seeds1/2 tsp.
  12. Prepare of Whole chilli 1 no.
  13. You need of Curry leaves coriander leaves.
  14. You need of Fried onion 2sp.
  15. You need 1 cup of water.
  16. Take of I m using (* 1 cup - 80 ml).

Steps to make Black channa chicken roast:

  1. Marinate chicken with chilli turmeric and fennel powder and salt.
  2. Half fry chicken pcs. Keep it aside.
  3. Take a pressure cooker and pour the above frying oil and heat it. Add mustard seed and 1 whole chilli and curry leaves. Then add ginger garlic sauté it then add sliced onion into it..
  4. Sauté until it turns brown. Add chopped tomato and chilly,sauté for a min.
  5. Now add chilli powder,coriander powder,garam masala/ channa powder,salt and fennel powder. Add 1 1/4cup water. Add channa into it when the above mix starts boiling. Close the lid and wait for 3-4 whistles..
  6. Wait for 5 min and then open the lid. Take non stick wok and pour the above above curry in to The wok..
  7. Heat the wok in a medium flame and then add chicken pieces.Sautè until it becomes dry..
  8. Add 2 spoons of fried onions.Mix it well and garnish with coriander leaves.😻😋.

Meanwhile in a wide bowl combine oil, salt, chilli and turmeric and pepper powder with channa. Then finally squeeze few drops of lemon juice. Rub salt into the skin of the roast chicken and leave it overnight for a lovely crisp finish. Tip a couple of tbsp olive oil into a small roasting tin. Add the lemon slices and then sit the chicken on top.
